Taylor Swift's New Song Mentions Cleveland and Her Husband's Hometown
Taylor Swift's recently announced deluxe album includes a track that references Cleveland and the area where her husband, Travis Kelce, grew up.
Taylor Swift announced the track list for the deluxe edition of her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, which includes a song titled “Cleveland!”. The inclusion follows reports that Swift and NFL quarterback Travis Kelce have bought a lakefront property near downtown Cleveland, close to the suburbs where Kelce was raised. In the lyrics, Swift references Kelce’s childhood home and the neighborhood of Cleveland Heights, noting that he introduced her to the city.
Cleveland Heights is the eastern suburb where Kelce attended high school and played football for the local team. The new song appears to be a personal tribute rather than a broader commentary on the city.
