Police bodycam video shows Milania Giudice confronting mother Teresa at Tampa airport
Body-camera footage obtained by a media outlet shows 20-year-old Milania Giudice yelling at her mother Teresa Giudice and sister Gia Giudice at Tampa International Airport after a recent Baker Act discharge.
Police body-camera video from Tampa International Airport captured a confrontation involving 20-year-old Milania Giudice, who had recently been released from a Baker Act evaluation, and her mother, former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, along with sister Gia Giudice. An officer told a colleague that Milania had just been released from a Baker Act facility and was considered a danger to herself, noting that she was being taken to a rehabilitation center.
Gia Giudice was heard trying to calm her sister and explaining that officers were attempting to escort Milania to treatment, but Milania repeatedly resisted, demanding the officers leave and asking if she could vape. She shouted at Teresa, accusing her of wanting to cause a scene, and filmed the exchange on her phone.
In an elevator, Teresa told Milania that after receiving help she would not need to speak to her again, a statement Milania posted to her Instagram story. Teresa later told officers that Milania had fentanyl in her system, a claim the younger Giudice denied. The police report classified Milania’s behavior as a mental breakdown with suicidal thoughts.
"She actually hired a counselor," one officer said, adding that the situation was "serious."
"Is she a danger to herself?" another officer asked, to which the first replied, "Yes, that’s why she got Baker Acted."
The incident occurred on a Wednesday and has been widely shared on social media.
