Police Respond to Family Dispute Involving Giudice Daughter at Tampa Airport

Resumen

Tampa International Airport police were called on September 23 after a dispute involving Milania Giudice, her mother Teresa Giudice and sister Gia Giudice. The 20-year-old was located within minutes and boarded a flight with her family.

Tampa International Airport police received a request for assistance at about 2:20 p.m. on September 23, according to law-enforcement sources. The call was placed after several women reported a family dispute involving Milania Giudice, a 20-year-old University of Tampa junior who had recently been released from a hospital.

Police were informed that Milania was traveling with her mother Teresa Giudice, sister Gia Giudice and a counselor. Officers described her as a white female wearing a tan hat, a yellow sweatsuit, with brown hair, and carrying a cat in a pink carrier. Within roughly 12 minutes, officers located Milania and she boarded a flight with her family members. No arrests were made, no medical transport was required and no formal police report was filed.

A video posted by Milania on social media, later deleted, showed police surrounding the group. In the clip she repeatedly asked her mother and sister, “This is what we do now?” and Teresa responded, “I love you.” Gia was heard telling her mother to allow Milania to make her own decisions, to which Milania replied, “Shut the f--k up.”

Milania has faced legal issues earlier this year, including a May arrest for domestic violence and a charge of simple assault related to an incident in which she allegedly struck a victim in the head. She has since enrolled in anger-management classes and posted a brief statement on TikTok saying she is working to improve herself.

Teresa Giudice’s representative did not respond to requests for comment.
