Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. addresses criticism as season struggles continue

Resumen

Marvin Harrison Jr. said he will ignore outside criticism and stick to his preparation while his production has lagged early in the 2026 season.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. said he is aware of the criticism surrounding his slow start to the 2026 campaign but will not let it affect his focus on the team. He told reporters that, in today’s social-media driven environment, “everyone’s entitled to their own opinions,” but he intends to “continue to worry about my team and my process and helping the team win best I can.”

Harrison emphasized that he will maintain his existing routine, adding, “Stick to my process. Don’t change anything I’ve been doing. Continue to work hard day in and day out.”

The 24-year-old was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 draft and posted 62 receptions for 885 yards and eight touchdowns as a rookie. After missing five games with injuries in 2025, he recorded 608 yards and four touchdowns. This season, he has logged just one catch for 33 yards on four targets and has been credited with a drop in two games. Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett’s passer rating falls from 86.2 overall to 61.5 when targeting Harrison, according to Pro Football Focus. Arizona is 1-1 after two games, having scored 33 points.
