Social media influencer Braden Peters charged with rape of 17-year-old in Massachusetts
Braden Peters, known online as Clavicular, has been indicted on rape, drug-related and under-age alcohol charges stemming from an alleged assault of a 17-year-old girl in Chatham, Mass.
A 20-year-old former Sacred Heart University student who posts under the name Clavicular has been charged with rape, administering a substance for sexual intercourse and providing alcohol to a minor. Court documents say the alleged assault took place on May 23, 2025, at Peters' family home in Chatham, Massachusetts. The victim, who met Peters through Instagram and was paid to appear in “looksmaxxing” videos, told police she was taken to the house by rideshare, greeted by Peters' mother and grandmother, and led to his bedroom where he was streaming live on Twitch. She said Peters instructed her to tell viewers she was 18 and that the vodka she received was actually water. After consuming several drinks, she became intoxicated, made out with Peters on a couch, fell asleep, and later awoke to an alleged rape, according to the police report. Peters is scheduled for arraignment on October 14 in Massachusetts and is not currently in custody. He is known for controversial “looksmaxxing” content, including claims of using a hammer to break facial bones and using methamphetamine and testosterone. Peters, originally from New Jersey and now residing in Florida, enrolled at Sacred Heart University in 2024 but was expelled after campus police discovered steroids in his dormitory. The case was first referenced in a civil lawsuit filed in Florida in April, with an amended complaint in June alleging additional misconduct, including an injection of an unapproved fat-melting substance during a livestream in Florida.
