Influencer Braden Peters Faces Rape and Drugging Charges in Massachusetts

Summary

Online personality Braden Peters, known as Clavicular, posted a video after being charged with rape, drugging and illegal liquor procurement; his arraignment is scheduled for October 14.

Online influencer Braden Peters, who operates under the name Clavicular, posted a video on TikTok and Instagram following the public disclosure of criminal charges against him in Massachusetts. The video included screenshots of text messages, a brief clip with a caption about making money, and an image of a handwritten note, accompanied by captions that referenced greed.

Peters, 20, was charged on September 8 with one count each of rape, drugging a person for sexual intercourse, and providing alcohol to a minor. The alleged incidents are said to have occurred on May 23, 2025, and an arraignment is set for October 14. He is not currently in custody, and his attorney, Mitchell Jackson, told NBC News that Peters has not been physically served with the charges.

The victim’s identity has not been released in accordance with state law. Media reports note that the timeline aligns with a civil lawsuit filed by 18-year-old influencer Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, who previously accused Peters of battery, fraud and sexual misconduct. In July, Peters denied those allegations and sought to dismiss several counts of the lawsuit.

Peters has built a following on TikTok with videos that feature extreme body-modification practices, including facial injections and other controversial procedures.
