Livestreamer Braden Peters Charged with Rape and Related Offenses in Massachusetts
Internet personality Braden Peters, known online as Clavicular, faces rape, drugging and underage alcohol procurement charges in Massachusetts, linked to a civil suit in Florida alleging sexual battery and other claims.
Braden Peters, who streams under the name Clavicular, was indicted in Orleans, Massachusetts district court on charges of rape, drugging a person for sexual intercourse and providing alcohol to a minor. The criminal complaint relates to allegations made by influencer Aleksandra Mendoza, who says she was 17 when she visited Peters’ family home on Cape Cod in May 2025 and was encouraged to drink vodka before being sexually assaulted while intoxicated, both during a livestream and the following morning.
Mendoza also filed a civil suit in Florida that was amended in June to include a claim of sexual battery, along with accusations of battery, infliction of emotional distress and fraud. Her attorneys plan to depose Peters in October. The Florida suit further alleges that in November 2024, while underage, she was injected with a non-FDA-approved fat-dissolving substance during another livestream, and that Peters used her name and likeness for monetary gain.
Peters’ legal representatives have denied the allegations, stating that Mendoza was aware of the injections and pursued legal action for financial reasons. Chatham police reported unsuccessful attempts to contact Peters regarding the case. He is scheduled for arraignment on October 14.
