Rams rout Giants 28-6 in Night Football
The Los Angeles Rams beat the New York Giants 28-6 on 14 September, with multiple Giants players exiting the contest because of injuries, Big Blue View reported. The Giants entered the Week 2 matchup with a 1-0 record after a 28-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys, according to ESPN. They traveled to Los Angeles to face a Rams defense that employs varied coverages and a strong pass rush, Big Blue View noted.
Analysts at Big Blue View had earlier favored the Rams to win the Night Football contest. CBS Sports said the Rams were set to host the Giants with defensive tackle Aaron Donald expected to play limited snaps after missing the opener. Yahoo reported that the Rams entered the game without defensive end Myles Garrett and receiver Puka Nacua, both sidelined by injuries.
