Fifth Missing Woman Linked to Philadelphia Home Under Investigation

摘要

Police say a woman missing since 2018 has been connected to a Philadelphia residence where authorities have uncovered extensive digital evidence and possible human remains.

Philadelphia police have linked Nicole Amanda Fusaro, 27, who vanished in July 2018, to a home in the Olney neighborhood owned by 44-year-old Eugene Horsch. The connection was disclosed by Fusaro’s cousin, Jonathan Halloran-Koren, who said detectives confirmed Fusaro as a victim of Ray Horsch, the late father of the house’s owner.

The investigation, involving the Philadelphia Police homicide unit, the FBI and the DEA, began after Horsch was arrested on drug and firearm charges on June 19. He remains in federal custody and is scheduled for a hearing on November 3.

During a search warrant execution last month, investigators recovered more than one million pieces of evidence, including over 600,000 images, 70,000 videos and thousands of pages of written material. Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore said the haul contains photographs of numerous women, some appearing deceased, and five urns believed to hold human ashes. Among the identified women are Maribel Fresses, 27, and Gabrielle Amarando, 22, both missing for several years, as well as Blair Tonzelli and Amy McHale, the latter previously married to Ray Horsch.

FBI Special Agent in Charge Wayne Jacobs described the probe as a “deliberate and time-intensive process” and emphasized the need for answers for the families. Halloran-Koren posted on social media urging expanded FBI assistance, stating his aim is to locate every missing woman and follow every credible lead.

Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said the department is notifying families and sees no immediate threat to the community. Authorities will continue reviewing the remaining digital evidence, and updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
