ABC's "American Idol" relocated its production to an Atlanta-area studio complex, citing Georgia's tax credits and infrastructure, as California officials faced criticism over the state's film incentives. The move follows earlier reports that Fremantle confirmed the long-running competition would shift to the Atlanta region to benefit from more favorable tax incentives, joining other shows that have left Los Angeles amid declining shoot days in California.
