Nvidia confirms GeForce Now support for Googlebook laptops later in 2026
On September 24, 2026, Nvidia announced that its GeForce Now cloud-gaming service will be supported on Google’s Gemini-powered Googlebook laptops before the end of the year. Google had earlier confirmed that pre-orders for the Googlebook laptops would begin on September 21 at 9 a. m. ET. Leaked images of an Asus-branded Googlebook showed multiple USB-C and USB-A ports, a headphone jack, a fingerprint sensor and a large trackpad, and also referenced the September 21 pre-order start.
Google later unveiled the premium Android-ChromeOS devices, describing them as a hybrid of Android and ChromeOS with AI-focused features. Reports indicated U. S. pre-orders would open on October 4 with prices ranging from $899 to $1,299, and reviewers noted the high price and limited operating-system capabilities.
