Nvidia confirms GeForce Now coming to Googlebooks later this year
Nvidia announced on 24 September that its GeForce Now cloud-gaming service will be supported on Google’s new Gemini-powered Googlebook laptops later this year, making the statement from Dammam in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. Google confirmed that pre-orders for the Googlebook line would begin on 21 September at 9 a. m. ET, and leaked images reported by 9to5Google showed Asus’s model with multiple ports and a large trackpad.
The Verge reported that Google unveiled the premium Android-ChromeOS laptops, while Ars Technica said U. S. pre-orders would start on 4 October with prices ranging from $899 to $1,299. Critics highlighted the $899 starting price and the devices’ limited operating-system capabilities.
