Taylor Swift attends Kansas City Chiefs season opener to support Travis Kelby
Taylor Swift was spotted in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs' opening game, cheering on husband Travis Kelce as he begins his 14th NFL season.
Taylor Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs' season-opening game against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 14, sitting in a suite with fellow guest Tom Cruise. The pop star was seen wearing a red-and-cream checkered button-up and sipping a drink while the game was in progress.
Her presence marks the first time she has watched a Chiefs home game from the stands since the holiday game in December 2025. Swift has been a regular attendee at Chiefs home games since she first appeared at Arrowhead in September 2023, and the team has a winning record in games where she is present.
Kelce, who announced in March that he will return for another season, is entering his 14th year as the Chiefs' tight end. Swift chose to attend the game rather than travel to the 78th Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, where her Disney+ concert special received five nominations but did not win.
The Chiefs' 2026-27 home schedule includes matchups against the Broncos, Colts, Dolphins, Raiders, Chargers, Seahawks, Jets, Falcons, Cardinals, Bills, Rams, Bengals, Patriots, and 49ers.
