Divertissement Société

On September 19 in the United States, country singer Ella Langley set a new Billboard Hot 100 record when her single “Choosin’ Texas” logged a 23-week run at No.  1, surpassing Mariah Carey’s previous 22-week streak, Billboard reported. The achievement marked the longest uninterrupted stay at the chart’s summit.

Billboard had earlier noted that the song had tied Carey’s 22-week record, and Pitchfork reported that a further week could break the record. NPR later confirmed the 23-week milestone, describing it as a new milestone for the chart.
