Trump says Donald Jr. reimbursed Russian oligarch for wedding costs
President Donald Trump said his son, Donald Trump Jr. , had reimbursed Russian businessman Umar Kremlev for costs incurred at the younger Trump’s wedding, a detail confirmed by a source but without disclosed amounts. Earlier reporting showed that Kremlev, a Russian oligarch linked to President Vladimir Putin, paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for the three-day Bahamas wedding and a subsequent two-night island celebration for the couple, prompting questions from U.
S. officials. A House Oversight Democrat later opened a probe and requested related documents from the White House and Trump Jr.
