Una corte de Chicago ordenó que una niña de 15 años permaneciera bajo custodia después de que se le imputara asesinato en primer grado por empujar al pasajero Kyle Bickham desde un tren en movimiento de la línea roja del CTA, incidente ocurrido el 7 de septiembre. La orden se dictó el 19 de septiembre.

La policía de Chicago arrestó a la menor y presentó el cargo tras la caída de Bickham sobre el tercer riel electrificado, donde fue alcanzado por otro tren. Los fiscales indicaron que el empujón fue coordinado con un joven de 19 años, otro adolescente y dos hombres no identificados.
