Chicago teen ordered held after fatal CTA train push
A Chicago court ordered a 15-year-old girl to remain in custody after she was charged with first-degree murder for pushing rider Kyle Bickham from a moving CTA Red Line train, an incident that occurred on September seventh. The custody order was issued on September nineteenth.
Chicago police had arrested the teenager and filed the murder charge after Bickham fell onto the electrified third rail and was struck by another train. Prosecutors said the push was coordinated with a 19-year-old, another teenager and two unidentified men.
