Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polansky welcome daughter Rose Bean Polansky
A birth certificate confirms that Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky's first child, a daughter named Rose Bean, was born on June 9 in Los Angeles.
A Los Angeles birth certificate obtained by a news outlet shows that Lady Gaga and her fiancé Michael Polansky welcomed a daughter, Rose Bean Polansky, on June 9. The couple has not publicly commented on the birth. The name Rose is thought to reference the Édith Piaf song "La Vie En Rose," which Gaga performed in her 2018 film A Star Is Born, and which she also has tattooed on her back.
"There’s an incredible amount of narcissism in this. How do I live a life where I’m passionate about my art while also making more space for other things?" Gaga said in a past interview. "It’s such an intense thing for kids coming into the world. I just kind of want to let my kids find out who they are," she told a UK magazine in 2025. The pair, who made their relationship public in 2020, have discussed how to raise a family together, and Gaga acknowledged that her child may someday question her artistic choices.
