Resumen

A Russian drone attack on a warehouse in the Bucha area killed at least 37 people and injured dozens, prompting a pre-trial investigation into the storage of explosive materials.

A Russian drone strike on a warehouse in the village of Myla, near Bucha, ignited a large fire and caused multiple explosions, killing at least 37 people and wounding 42, including four children, according to local officials.

Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, said 381 residents were evacuated and that the blaze spread to nearby houses and a catering establishment, which have since been extinguished.

Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office announced a pre-trial investigation into possible negligence regarding the legality, permits and storage of explosive materials at the site.

The incident occurred amid a broader wave of Russian attacks that also killed two people in Kherson, injured a third in Odesa, and caused additional casualties in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi district. Ukrainian air defenses reported shooting down 233 of 267 drones launched since the evening of Friday.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged Ukrainian forces to increase their own long-range strikes, calling for a higher daily count of drone launches.
