Broncos announce 17-player practice squad after final roster cuts
The Denver Broncos announced a 17-player practice squad for the 2026 season, composed entirely of players from their recent 91-man roster and including International Pathway participant David Agoha, Mile High Report said. Earlier, the club had finalized its 53-man roster, moving edge rusher Jonathon Cooper to the commissioner’s exempt list, retaining three quarterbacks and waiving several draft picks such as rookie tight end Justin Joly. Prior to that, after a dominant 34-6 preseason win over the Minnesota Vikings, head coach Sean Payton was evaluating five standout players who could earn spots on the active roster, Mile High Report noted.
