Jax Taylor claims estranged wife verbally abused him in restraining order filing
Jax Taylor filed a restraining-order petition in Los Angeles on 27 August, alleging that his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright had verbally abused him with statements intended to provoke a relapse and undermine his reputation, according to a court filing reported on 4 September by TMZ. Earlier, Taylor had sought his own restraining order citing safety concerns amid an ongoing custody dispute, as reported by E! News. Cartwright previously claimed he sabotaged a $175,000 television opportunity, according to Page Six.
After a temporary domestic-violence restraining order was granted against Taylor, he issued a public apology and denied the allegations, E! News reported. The Los Angeles judge had issued that temporary order, requiring Taylor to stay 100 yards from Cartwright, per Yahoo. Cartwright earlier alleged she suffered a bruised knee and that furniture and an iPad were damaged during a July 2024 confrontation, according to TMZ.
