Four Killed in Alaska Plane Crash, Troopers Confirm Victims
Alaska State Troopers confirmed on 27 August that all four occupants of a Piper PA-24 that crashed into Seldovia Slough on 24 August were killed, and the bodies were recovered later that evening. CNN reported that the aircraft went down in shallow water near the town of Seldovia, and the National Transportation Safety Board began an investigation into the cause. The troopers' statement came after the plane, carrying four adults, struck the water killing everyone on board.
