Buffalo Bills add nine players to 2026 practice squad
The Bills announced nine new members for their 2026 practice squad, including running back Frank Gore Jr. and defensive lineman Travis Clayton as an international exemption.
One day after the NFL reduced rosters to 53 players, the Buffalo Bills began filling their practice squad for the 2026 season. Practice squads can hold up to 16 players, or 17 if an international player qualifies for an exemption; the Bills will use that slot for English defensive lineman Travis Clayton.
The team added running back Frank Gore Jr., wide receivers Greg Dortch and Ja'Mori Maclin, linebacker Keonta Jenkins, cornerback Kani Walker, offensive lineman Chase Lundt and safety Geno Stone to the squad.
"The heavy lifting has been done by the Bills and all 32 teams in the NFL over the weekend as teams trimmed their roster down to 53 players," a Bills Wire report noted.
The new practice squad roster is listed on Bills Wire’s tracker.
