Aaron Donald's comeback contract outlines up to $30 million in incentives for 2026 season
Defensive tackle Aaron Donald has agreed to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams that could total $30 million, contingent on roster bonuses and performance incentives tied to playoff advancement.
Aaron Donald has signed a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams that replaces the $30 million salary from the final year of his previous agreement, which he left when he retired after the 2023 season. The deal includes a $10 million base salary for 2026 and a roster bonus of $666,667 for each of up to 15 regular-season games. Additional incentives are tied to playoff participation: $2.5 million if he plays at least 15 percent of defensive snaps during the regular season and the team qualifies for the playoffs, $1.25 million for each wild-card and divisional-round game he is active in, $2.5 million for a conference-championship win provided he meets snap thresholds, and a further $2.5 million for a Super Bowl victory under the same conditions. If all incentives are met, the contract could reach a maximum value of $30 million, dependent on the Rams reaching and winning the Super Bowl.
