Iranian state media airs video alleging knowledge of Barron Trump's whereabouts and claims $10 million bounty
Iranian television broadcast a three-minute video asserting it can track Barron Trump and alleging a $10 million bounty on him, a claim that could not be independently verified.
Iranian state television aired a three-minute video that said it could monitor the movements of President Donald Trump's 20-year-old son, Barron Trump, and listed alleged online accounts and locations associated with him. The clip, titled “Where to kill Barron Trump,” concluded with a threat-like statement.
The video was circulated through media outlets linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to regional news reports. Similar videos targeting other members of the Trump family have appeared in recent months on IRGC-affiliated platforms.
Unverified reports also claim that a $10 million bounty has been placed on Barron Trump’s head, but the allegation has not been confirmed by independent sources.
The broadcast follows heightened tensions between the United States and Iran, including recent U.S. economic sanctions aimed at pressuring Tehran. Iranian officials have warned of severe economic challenges as the rial continues to lose value against the dollar.
“No matter how much military power we have, if people are hungry and we do not have financial circulation and economic growth, we will not endure,” parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said.
U.S. Treasury officials have indicated that a new round of sanctions could further strain Iran’s economy, while Iranian leaders have signaled a willingness to discuss a possible agreement with the United States.
