Erling Haaland's buzz cut fuels social media buzz after season opener
Yahoo News Singapore reported that on August 24 Haaland posted a video of his new buzz cut on Instagram, prompting a light-hearted reaction from his girlfriend Isabel Johansen and comments from teammates. He had debuted the haircut two days earlier in Manchester City's 2-1 season-opening victory over Bournemouth, Yahoo Sports said.
Teammates and former manager Zlatan Ibrahimović commented on the look, AP News noted, while broadcaster Rebecca Lowe also remarked on his shaved head, Awful Announcing reported. The buzz cut, a dramatic shift from his previous long hair, quickly became a talking point across social media platforms, with fans sharing memes and opinions about the striker's new appearance.
