Fan Arrested After Throwing Sex Toy onto WNBA Court During Dream-Sparks Game
Security detained a spectator who tossed a green dildo onto the floor of Crypto.com Arena during a WNBA matchup, leading to an indefinite ban from league events.
Security officials arrested a fan who threw a green dildo onto the hardwood during the third quarter of the Dream-Sparks game at Crypto.com Arena on Thursday. The object landed near Los Angeles forward Jihyun Park at the free-throw line, prompting a brief interruption while arena staff removed it.
According to a video posted by LoJo Media, the individual fled the 100s section, pushing a security guard in the process, and was later taken into custody. The person has been barred indefinitely from attending any WNBA, NBA, or affiliated league events.
The incident follows several similar occurrences last season in cities including Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Phoenix and Los Angeles. A league spokesperson previously said the organization is cooperating with local and federal authorities to pursue arrests and possible felony charges against those involved in such conduct.
