U.S. Navy reviews renaming CVN-81 after Donald Trump

Navy said it was reviewing the name of the under-construction Ford-class carrier CVN-81, which had been slated to honor World War II sailor Doris Miller, after internal discussions about naming it after President Donald Trump, The Guardian reported. Earlier reports said Navy officials were weighing a name change that would replace Miller’s designation with Trump’s, according to Forbes and USA Today.
