Neutrogena expressed sorrow over the death of actress Hayden Panettiere, apologized for terminating her contract after she publicly discussed postpartum depression, and announced a planned investment in women's health services, including postpartum-depression care. Panettiere had earlier claimed the skincare brand tried to end their partnership after she disclosed her postpartum-depression struggles, a allegation that resurfaced following her death.
