Graham Rahal said racing on Pennsylvania Avenue during the Freedom Grand Prix 250 is a special experience as the United States marks its 250th anniversary.

Graham Rahal will be among roughly two dozen drivers competing in the Freedom Grand Prix 250 IndyCar street race in Washington, D.C., on Sunday. Speaking at the IndyCar Grand Prix media preview, Rahal highlighted the significance of racing in the nation’s capital during the country’s 250th anniversary celebrations.

"As an American, this is an iconic moment," he said, noting the historic setting near Capitol Hill and the chance to drive down Pennsylvania Avenue.
