Actor David Krumholtz Announces Retirement from Acting on Social Media
David Krumholtz said he is stepping away from his acting career, describing the decision as a relief after years of frustration.
Veteran actor David Krumholtz posted a brief message on Threads indicating he has decided to end his acting career, saying he felt "frustrated, fed up, fried" with the industry and that sending a final email brought him a "huge wave of relief." The post, which was later removed, sparked a large response from fans and colleagues. Krumholtz replied to comments, noting that while he still enjoys the craft of acting, the professional side has lost its appeal. Fellow actor Garret Dillahunt responded, expressing sadness but also support for Krumholtz’s choice. The 48-year-old, known for roles in productions such as Law & Order, The Santa Clause series and the TV show Numb3rs, has accumulated more than 140 credits since the early 1990s.
