Apple reportedly preparing new Home devices and store redesign ahead of launch
Apple is reportedly preparing a macOS Tahoe 26. 7 release-candidate that includes code and assets for several unreleased devices, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman says. Earlier leaks cited by 9to5Mac indicated that the macOS code referenced a new Apple TV 4K, a second-generation HomePod mini, a HomePad hub and possible security camera and video doorbell.
MacRumors later reported that the same 26. 7 update also referenced camera-equipped AirPods, a foldable iPhone, an OLED MacBook, an iPad mini, a smart-home hub and an updated Siri Remote. In addition, Apple is said to be reconfiguring the peripheral “Avenues” sections of its newer retail locations and modifying perimeter display walls this fall to showcase an upcoming HomePod smart hub with a screen, according to reports from Gizmodo and MacRumors.
