Apple's macOS 26.7 update reveals references to multiple upcoming products
A release candidate for macOS 26.7 contains code references to several unreleased Apple devices, including camera-equipped AirPods, a foldable iPhone, OLED MacBook and iPad mini, a new smart-home hub, and an updated Siri Remote.
Apple has seeded a release candidate of macOS 26.7 that includes code references to more than a dozen unreleased products, according to a contributor at a technology news site. The build mentions AirPods equipped with infrared cameras for visual intelligence, a foldable iPhone that has been widely rumored, and a new smart-home hub featuring a widget gallery with iPhone widget support. It also references the first MacBook and iPad mini models with OLED displays, as well as an updated Siri Remote intended for a next-generation Apple TV. The findings were compiled from the operating system's code and listed in a series of headings that detail each anticipated device. Apple’s annual iPhone event is scheduled for September, suggesting that some of the referenced products may be announced at that time.
