Brother of Hayden Panettiere's Boyfriend Details Events at Airbnb Prior to Her Death

Zach Hickerson, the brother of Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend Brian Hickerson, told TMZ that he arrived at the Airbnb on Sunday morning after attending church and discovered Panettiere unconscious on a pull-out couch. He said he called 911 and that Brian administered Narcan while they performed CPR together until emergency services arrived. The Los Angeles County Fire Department and EMS attempted resuscitation, but Panettiere was later pronounced dead.

In a statement, Brian Hickerson, speaking through his attorney, reiterated that the death remains under investigation and that police have found no evidence of foul play. He declined to provide further details pending the investigation.

Panettiere's mother, Lesley Vogel, has publicly questioned Brian's involvement in her daughter's life, alleging that a “toxic individual” contributed to the circumstances surrounding the death. Vogel said the Drug Enforcement Administration has been contacted to assist with the investigation.

Police reports indicate that Zach appeared emotional during the emergency response, while Brian remained composed until Panettiere was declared deceased. The investigation is ongoing.
