Neighbor claims she called 911 multiple times over disturbances at Hayden Panettiere's apartment

摘要

A West Hollywood neighbor said she repeatedly called emergency services to report possible domestic violence involving actress Hayden Panettiere and her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, before the actress' death.

A West Hollywood resident, Mia Terrazzas, told Inside Edition that she called 911 at least six times to report disturbances she believed were related to domestic violence in actress Hayden Panettiere's apartment. Terrazzas said she heard what she thought were violent incidents between Panettiere and her on-and-off boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, and observed Panettiere leaving on a gurney with Hickerson nearby, appearing terrified.

"I saw her leaving on a gurney. Brian was right next to her. I asked if she was OK, and it looked like she had suffered some type of trauma. It was clear she was terrified," Terrazzas said.

Terrazzas added that Panettiere seemed subdued when Hickerson was present, contrasting with her usual demeanor. Hickerson has not commented publicly since Panettiere's death, which occurred in Greenville, South Carolina. Police reports indicated he was with his brother, Zach, who showed authorities a bag of medication Panettiere had been taking. An autopsy found no signs of trauma contributing to the death, and the DEA is reportedly investigating.

Panettiere's mother, Lesley Vogel, referenced Hickerson in an interview, stating that the couple had been together recently despite earlier reports of separation and that the family had long been concerned about his influence on the actress. In her memoir, "This Is Me: A Reckoning," Panettiere described episodes of abuse by Hickerson, including a period when she was unable to leave her apartment for weeks and a restraining order she sought in 2020.
