Resumen

Christopher Abbott, Adam Driver, Inde Navarette and Maya Boyd have been confirmed for key roles in Marvel Studios' X-Men movie, which is scheduled to open on May 5, 2028.

Marvel Studios revealed the principal cast of its upcoming X-Men film at Disney's D23 event in Anaheim, setting a release date of May 5, 2028. Christopher Abbott will portray Charles Xavier/Professor X, while Adam Driver has been cast as Magneto. Inde Navarette is slated to play Rogue and Maya Boyd will appear as Storm.

The announcements also confirmed earlier reports that Samara Weaving will play Emma Frost, Kit Connor will take on Cyclops, and Sadie Sink will portray Jean Grey. Director Jake Schreier, along with writers Lee Sung Jim and Joanna Calo, have been developing the project throughout the summer.

"We’re here to talk about the X-Men," Marvel chief Kevin Feige said during the presentation.

The film follows Disney's 2019 acquisition of 20th Century Fox, which included the X-Men franchise. Abbott, known for his recent work in "The Testament of Ann Lee" and the Netflix series "East of Eden," is represented by WME and Entertainment 360.
