Google releases Android 17 QPR1 Beta 9 for Pixel devices

Resumen

Google has launched the Android 17 QPR1 Beta 9 update, fixing several bugs and maintaining the July 2026 security patch across a wide range of Pixel phones and tablets.

Google rolled out the Android 17 QPR1 Beta 9 update for Pixel devices, keeping the July 2026 security patch level. The build addresses multiple issues, including a problem where swiping the bottom gesture bar failed after using Circle to Search, unexpected loud noises during media playback, and a reboot loop that could occur every 20 to 30 seconds. Additional fixes cover disappearing taskbar icons on foldable devices, intermittent battery drain, and other stability concerns.

"You can report issues via the Android Beta Feedback app on Pixel devices," the company noted, directing users to the app in the application drawer or Quick Settings and mentioning a community forum on Reddit for further discussion.

The Beta 9 system images are available for Pixel 6 through Pixel 10 series, including Pro, Pro XL, Pro Fold, and a-series models, as well as the Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, and the Android Emulator.
