White House says over 40 nations help China evade U.S. tariffs
On August 14 the White House said that more than 40 countries are part of a logistics network that mislabels Chinese goods to avoid U. S.
tariffs. The administration’s report, issued on August 13, estimated that such transshipment schemes cost the United States $19-$26 billion in lost tariff revenue each year and warned that China and over forty other nations are using these routes to evade duties.
