Details of Travis Kelke and Taylor Swift's Wedding Bands Revealed
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were recently seen wearing their wedding rings, prompting jewelry experts to describe the design and materials of each band.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelke have been photographed wearing their wedding bands at separate events since their ceremony at Madison Square Garden six weeks ago. Swift attended a wedding in the United Kingdom, where her gold band was captured alongside her engagement ring, while Kelke displayed his ring during a Kansas City Chiefs preseason game.
At a press conference on Aug. 12, Kelke said the wedding was "the best night of my life" and described his offseason as "fun." Jewelry specialist Melanie Fitzpatrick, co-founder of LeMel, identified Kelke's band as a classic solid-gold yellow piece, likely 18-karat and about 8 mm wide. She noted that gold jewelry aligns with his personal style.
Fitzpatrick also examined Swift's band, which she says is also yellow gold but features round diamonds on the front and a plain gold reverse. The ring appears to have been custom-made by Kindred Lubeck to sit flush with her cushion-cut diamond engagement ring, creating a cohesive look without detracting from the engagement piece.
