The Colts’ running game saw contributions from Jonathan Taylor, Seth McGowan and Ulysses Bentley IV, each reaching the end zone. However, the team struggled to create passing opportunities for its receivers, with quarterback Riley Leonard completing most of his early attempts.

Injury updates indicated that cornerback Charvarius Ward remained out with a back injury and will miss the upcoming game. Slot receiver Josh Downs and strong safety Hunter Wohler returned to practice after recovering from groin and hamstring issues, respectively. Rookie CJ Allen, running back DJ Giddens, cornerback Charvarius Ward and Alex Pierce were not participating in the session.

Colts coach Chris Sims noted that the Patriots’ practice tempo was slower than the Colts’ typical sessions, allowing more time between drills. The team’s training camp runs from July 29 to August 20, with fan tickets available through the official Colts website and various themed practice events scheduled throughout August.
