Jake Pentland accuses Roseanne cast of misrepresenting tweets and silencing her
Jake Pentland, the son of Roseanne Barr, alleged in Washington, D. C. that the cast of the 'Roseanne' reboot misrepresented her 2018 tweets and blocked her from defending herself publicly.
Former 'Roseanne' star Michael Fishman had previously defended the 2018 cancellation of the revival, saying Barr's racist tweet justified the network's decision and warning that downplaying the incident ignored real-world harm. He also expressed continued personal respect for Barr while maintaining that the cancellation was warranted.
