The UFC detailed the lineup for its Philadelphia event on Saturday, featuring Islam Makhachev vs. Ian Machado Garry as the main bout and Mackenzie Dern defending her strawweight title.
The UFC confirmed the full fight card for its Saturday night event at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. The headline bout will see lightweight champion Islam Makhachev challenge welterweight contender Ian Machado Garry, a matchup that could make Makhachev one of the few fighters to hold titles in two divisions. In the co-main event, strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern will defend her belt against Gillian Robertson. Dern has won three consecutive fights, and Robertson comes in on a five-win streak.
The main card also includes Jalin Turner vs. Kaue Fernandes, Mansur Abdul-Malik vs. Dustin Stoltzfus, and Edson Barboza vs. Esteban Ribovics. Preliminary fights feature Chidi Njokuani vs. Joel Alvarez, a 130-pound catchweight bout between Charles Johnson and Eduardo Chapolin, Donte Johnson vs. Eric McConico, and Vicente Luque vs. Tresean Gore. Early prelims list Rafael Tobias vs. Lucas Fernando, and Neil Magny vs. Ramiz Brahimaj.
