Mahomes cleared for full practice after passing knee test
Patrick Mahomes was cleared for full practice after passing a rigorous knee test, Arrowhead Pride reported, allowing him to resume full participation in Kansas City Chiefs training camp. Earlier in August, NBC Sports said coach Andy Reid indicated Mahomes was unlikely to play in the preseason opener, and AP News added that he might miss the entire exhibition schedule following his December knee surgery. Two weeks into camp, Mahomes told ESPN that his left knee felt good as he continued rehabilitation, and NBC Sports later quoted him saying the same.
