Immigration and Customs Enforcement said it plans to equip every field officer with a body-worn camera by late August, while maintaining discretion over public release of footage. Earlier announcements indicated the rollout would extend through September and that agency leaders would have broad authority to withhold video unless it was deemed in the agency’s best interests.
