Resumen

The season 4 premiere of "Ted Lasso" logged 296.6 million minutes viewed in two days, becoming the most-watched launch in Apple TV history, according to Nielsen data.

Apple TV reported that the season 4 premiere of "Ted Lasso" attracted 296.6 million minutes of viewing across August 4-5, the highest launch figure for any title on the platform. Nielsen data also showed the episode was the most-streamed program in the United States on August 5, with more than 200 million minutes watched that day. The premiere generated an estimated 7.1 million views, a metric that adjusts for program length by dividing total minutes streamed by the episode’s 42-minute runtime.

The new season, set three years after the previous installment, follows Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) as he returns to Richmond to coach a second-division women’s football team. Returning cast members include Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift, while newcomers such as Tanya Reynolds and Jude Mack join the ensemble.

The series is executive produced by Sudeikis, Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, Bill Wrubel, Jack Burditt, Goldstein, Leann Bowen, Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer, with production partners including Doozer Productions, Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television.
