Leak suggests iPhone Ultra's front cameras may be placed in corners

Summary

A recent leak indicates that the upcoming iPhone Ultra could feature its two front-facing cameras in the top corners of its outer and inner displays, deviating from Apple's traditional centered placement.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone Ultra next month, its first foldable iPhone model. The device is rumored to include two rear cameras—a main sensor and an ultra-wide lens—and two front-facing cameras, one for each of its dual displays.

A third-party screen protector image circulating online appears to show a camera cutout in the top-right corner of the outer display and the top-left corner of the inner display. While the accessory maker may have made assumptions, the placement would differ from Apple's usual top-center selfie camera location.

Analysts note that positioning a front camera on the inner display away from the fold line is plausible, but moving the outer display’s camera to a corner could require users to adjust how they frame selfies.

"Apple has always put the selfie camera at the top-center of the iPhone," a commentator wrote, adding that a corner placement might affect group shots.

The leak remains unconfirmed pending the official product launch.
