Lenovo leaks details of upcoming Google-branded laptops and 2-in-1 tablet
Images released ahead of the fall launch show two white laptop models and a 2-in-1 tablet under the Googlebook line, revealing ports, a blue glow bar and accessory options.
Images obtained by Android Headlines show Lenovo's first Google-branded devices, slated for a fall release. The leak includes two white laptops that feature a protruding top edge similar to the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 and a blue “glow-bar” previously hinted at by Google. The devices carry the Lenovo logo on the left palm rest, while the Googlebook branding appears on the keyboard accessory rather than the lid.
The smaller laptop lacks a left-side speaker grill and includes a USB-C port and headphone jack on the right side. The larger model appears to offer USB-A, USB-C and a illuminated power button on the right edge, with additional ports—an audio jack, USB-C and either another USB-A or an HDMI connector—on the left side.
A 2-in-1 tablet variant is also visible, featuring the glow-bar beside the camera within a pill-shaped housing. It has speaker cutouts on both sides and a magnetic pen or stylus that attaches to the top edge. Lenovo plans to sell a keyboard with Googlebook branding and a sizable touchpad, as well as a mouse equipped with a light strip.
