Rams coach says Aaron Donald's decision likely pending until end of training camp
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay indicated that defensive tackle Aaron Donald will probably make his return decision after the team's training camp concludes on Aug. 7.
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay told reporters that defensive lineman Aaron Donald is not expected to decide on his future with the team until the Rams finish training camp at Loyola Marymount University, which wraps up on Aug. 7. McVay added that the outlook for Donald’s situation appears to be improving, saying, "If there’s an arrow, it’s trending upward." The 35-year-old, a three-time Defensive Player of the Year who has not played since the 2023 season, has remained in shape and expressed interest after the Rams added another former Defensive Player of the Year to the roster. The Rams are scheduled to open the season in Australia against the San Francisco 49ers on Sept. 10.
