WME says Jared Leto remains a client amid BBC sexual misconduct allegations

Resumen

Talent agency WME confirmed that actor Jared Leto continues to be represented despite a BBC documentary in which ten women allege sexual misconduct, which Leto denies.

Talent agency William Morris Endeavor (WME) told Page Six Hollywood that actor Jared Leto remains a client, and the agency does not plan to drop him at this time. The statement came after a BBC documentary featured ten women accusing Leto of sexual misconduct when they were teenagers, allegations the actor has called "absolutely and categorically false" and denied any wrongdoing.

When asked whether WME's client advisory committee was reviewing the allegations, a spokesperson said the committee was not involved. The agency, which created a committee in 2017 to assess clients accused of sexual misconduct, previously removed several high-profile figures from its roster.

Leto, an Oscar winner for "Dallas Buyers Club," has upcoming projects including "Masters of the Universe," "Tron: Ares" and the Cold War-era thriller "Lunik Heist" for Searchlight Pictures, which also stars John Mulaney and Lupita Nyong’o. A Searchlight representative said the film's status has not changed and declined further comment.
