U.S. Soccer finalizes Pochettino contract through 2030 World Cup
U. S. Soccer announced that head coach Mauricio Pochettino has signed a new deal extending his tenure through the 2030 World Cup, adding responsibilities for broader development of the national program. Earlier reports indicated that Pochettino was in advanced talks with the federation about a contract covering the 2030 World Cup cycle.
The latest agreement follows weeks of negotiations that began when the federation and the Argentine coach entered discussions to secure his long-term leadership of the U. S. men’s national team.
